In order to make the process move as quickly as possible, please complete the 4-page tax prep packet, including Form 13614-C, before meeting with a preparer at your appointment time.  You can print the packet at home, pick up a copy from the staff desk at the Rahway entrance or request that it be emailed to you, at the time your make your appointment. Please note that the last page requires a signature.  You will hand the completed and signed forms to the tax preparer.  The volunteer preparers will be working in the auditorium; no taxpayers will be allowed in the auditorium.  If you attempt to enter the auditorium you may be asked to leave the Library and your appointment could be forfeited.

A waiting area for taxpayers will be available on the 4th floor, outside the auditorium.  Once your tax forms are completed, the volunteer tax preparer will contact you by phone for you to retrieve your documents.  Please expect a  minimum 30-minute wait time for the completion of your taxes.
